I do. Some worthless cocksucker stole the winch and ramps from my trailer. ****ing scumbag. I'm almost not as mad at that POS, as I am at the dumb twat at Public Storage. Went back there after I discovered the ramps missing, and she told me "Oh, I saw them sitting out on the ground yesterday". No ****. You didn't think 'hey, this guy isn't here, and his stuff is all askew, maybe I should call him and inquire'. So, I'm beyond furious about that. I don't think I've ever wanted to choke someone so bad in my life.

I'm really starting to question the value of having insurance. Because I didn't get **** when the G6 was broken into, and a couple grand worth of **** was stolen. I'm not going to get **** this time either, and I have TRAILER insurance. So, **** insurance companies too.

Oh, and the stupid ****ing ramps were $320 per side. Awesome.

....And that's why, though they advertise the first month being only $1, that still doesn't interest me. I figure you get what you pay for. Seriously, man. If you have a way, a friend with a pole barn, anything, I'd get out of there quick, not that the damage isn't already done, but it may prevent future.

It's already been cancelled and moved to my friends farm. It was nice that Public Storage was like 15 mins from my house vs. an hour to get to the farm.

Hah, get this.. Saturday, my brother and his friend were parked, sitting in his car waiting for their other friends to arrive wherever. His friend was in the driver seat for whatever reason (I'm assuming my brother was wasted). His friend was playing with my brother's iphone and had his own phone in his lap. Some dude just opens the door, grabs both the phones and bolts. :eek: wtf? It's not my phone but I'm even pissed about it. It's mind boggling how easily he grabbed both the phones but even more so that some dip**** would do that. They chased him but apparently he got away.

That my friend, is the beauty of an investment account rather than an insurance policy. Just pay payments into a savings or investment account, as though it was an insurance account, and you know you will always have control of YOUR money. It's a lot better than paying someone else's salary, just so they can say to you "Oh well, sorry, we don't cover that.", when it comes to a situation that you need their help. Insurance is a screwed up world man, and I despise it.

Unbelievable. I'm sorry that happened to you man. My father-in-law owns a few houses near downtown Cincinnati. Last month, someone kicked in the back door on the left side of his 2 family and gutted all of the copper. Just last week someone kicked in the other side and gutted the copper from there too. The house wasn't being rented at the time because of renovations. Chances are that copper was scrapped so some low-life a$$hole could get a quick fix. This world is filled with scum bags, you can't trust anyone.

Not much aluminum really. Probably got $50 TOPS for all of it. So when you take it back to the farm, are you going to replace the cotter pins with actual locks for the ramps?

Since I worked for AZ Dept. of Corrections for 7 years , with min. to death row inmates and PC CHO MO inmates , I hate criminals and if I catch somone in my house or backyard trying to steal something they are not going to be to happy. They will see the hospital then the County Jail. Sorry to here of your theft. I would check your neighborhood for yard sales and craig list in about a week just to see if they turn up for sale. Or even Ebay. When I started working for the County we found a stolen semi truck that was parked in a bad area with 50,000LBs of copper tubing on it. The guys who stole it would load so much into a truck and go down and sale it little by little at different shops, I drove back with the detectives to put it in the impound lot and block traffic , but the det. est. that it had been there 2 weeeks and they got about 20,000LBS off of it. They got the size tires of the trucks they were using and were going to go down to the scrap yards and start seeing who was dropping off high amounts of copper becuase most the shops have camaras now that take the picture of the people coming in and the vehicle they were driving. 1 det. said it looked like they even tried using a S-10 looking at the tire marks and seeing that it had to be pulled out of the mud since it rained a couple of days during those 2 weeks. Low lifes, thats all.

That's pointless. Look at it next time, there are just little eyelet screws that the cotter pins slide in. They took the time to unbolt the winch, I'm pretty sure they would have just whacked those with a hammer, lock or not.
