I thought Sport Appearance Package was what Chev called the 98+ RS... so pre 98 was RS, and 98+ was that Sport package?Comment

SLP RS got new exhaust, sport suspension/steering, slp grill and RS badging, rated at 205hp it was for model years 2001 and 2002 only
pre 98 there was a RS option from the chevy
98-00 there was only the sport appearance package and the y87 performance package, but no RS option from either slp or chevyComment
