Anyone with an extra carfax?

I discovered that my car has 31 reports on Carfax. Does anyone have a spare they can run for me? :wavey:

That could be something as simple as vehicle service history.

How many times the title has changed hands ect.

You will probably want to edit out that vin. Carfax has been known to search forums like this to make sure people aren't sharing their accounts. When they see a vin, they check for people running it and will suspend the account.

it has a K in the vin, its a v6, if it was an ls1 the 8th number would be G :o

Thats right I saw the 2G , maybe thats why I thought but your right the K will make it a V6. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the advice. I remember when a carfax report was $19.99. I'm going to say forget the whole thing because honestly, it isn't worth it at all. I will spread the word every chance that I get.. don't get a carfax.

Hell yes it's worth it. 20 bucks to know if your upcoming $6000 purchase is gonna be a lemon? Sounds worth it to me :D

And then if the report is missing info, you're out $20. Can't stand Carfax.

Of course it's missing info. But it's worth it for the peace of mind. And if you see the car has had 5 owners and 4 accidents, even if it looks pristine on the outside.... well you just saved a few grand.

Edit:
Of course you could just buy the car and find out afterwards that a $20 piece of paper could have saved you a few grand... Your money is your money to do with as you wish.

Double edit:
If you go to the seller with a carfax covered in bad vehicle history, you can EASILY haggle your 20 dollars back out of the price of the car. Words are free. But if the history is good, then the price of the car is probably good too. It's win-win.
