thats fu***ng awesome. the body man i work under has a 95 ford ranger 4 cylinder that has 450,000 and counting. everything original but spark plugs, oil, battery, and throw out bearing.

That's pretty cool. But $50k to keep the car on the road in the past year or so alone? That's a lot of money to not invest in a new daily driver and long-deserved retirement for the car.'99 Camaro

Gearhead Granny! I found it amusing that she stated the fastest she ever drove it was 120mph, for a mile and that she purchased a cruise control because she got a ticket for doing 90mph. The car is in excellent shape for the year and mileage, todays cars would never last that long.

I saw an article a while back about her battery situation. She mentioned it briefly in this video. She bought a battery with a warranty from JC Penny. They no longer sell batteries though, so they pay firestone (?) whenever she needs a new one. I always wondered if companies would honor warranties even after they closed/changed, so its cool to hear that at least one company does!2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
