What you are saying is what you believe, not what everyone believes.

If you hold to biblical christian beliefs then marriage is an institution desgined and given to us by God alone beginning with Adam and Eve.

And I'm saying that there is NO place for the Bible in Government. Our Government decides what will be accepted as "Marriage" be it man and woman, hot woman and hot woman, or woman and donkey. That is where the line is being skewed, this has NOTHING to do with any religion or their beliefs. Watch the movie "The Invention of Lying". You'll see how silly most religions truely are. After that, watch "Zeitgeist". Plz report back. Oh n03s, the invisible man in the sky will be mad!!!11!!!

Excuses. I've seen your other posts. I can't believe how low education standards in this country have gotten. That should be considered a much more pressing issue rather than who's marrying who.

I was not trying to say that the Bible had a place in our government, and I was not trying to convince you to believe in my "religion". My point was against what Wes was saying about marriage being made and controlled by men.

However you did contradict yourself by saying it has "nothing to do with any religion or their beliefs", but you are using your own beliefs to state your case.

your using an online car forum as a source to judge my writing abilities. this is an excellent idea since car forums are formal places where people are grammatically correct and actually take time to proof read :rolleyes:

i go to the number 23 public college in the nation. i can speak and type properly when i need to. this is not one such place, but i guess you know that since you have a degree in everything

Yup, my degree is in not being a douche bag. Why you would believe it to be acceptable to convey your thoughts in a lesser manner due to the forum, is beyond me. You attend college, but need to proofread posts to an internet forum to ensure you don't sound like a mouthbreathing knuckle dragger. Perhaps they are disserving you at that fine academic institution. "I go to", no, you attend. That's a free lesson for ya!

It's called the separation of Church and State. It's not a belief, but a Constitutionally held principle of which our land is governed. Go back to the 8th grade.

"I go to" in neither grammatically incorrect nor literally incorrect. As i have already said, this is not where i come to write formal letters and essays.

Is the seperation of church and state actually in the Constitution?

Regardless, it is still a belief.
