    i know the 2000s had bubble paint on the roof. Did they fix that in 2001?

        As I've said before, I truely believe the GM cars from the mid-1990's - mid 2000's all have fuel pump and relay problems right around 100,000 miles. It happened to my Camaro, my wife's old 2002 Cavalier, my old 2001 Buick Century and also with my friend Jeremy's 1999 Grand Prix.

        Be prepared for it, because it might happen eventually..

        Also, be aware that you might have problems with the power window motors at some point. That is another common f-body problem.

        Other than that, the 3800 V6 is a damn good motor. I am on my third 4th gen Camaro and have not had many problems out of them.

          I know about chevy paint issues, trust me. The paint on my 2000 Chevy truck is literally falling off...............everywhere

            thanks, and you are correct. 2000 chevy truck......new fuel pump right around 100K and have had to replace the passenger window motor in the bird already.........

                Usually the first generation of anything is bound to bring problems. A lot of the, now if your talking about the V6 then yeah however the LS1 models will have issues.
