For the alcohol and weed with a under age female in his car , and any other priors he was looking at jail time, so I agree failed suicide, b@stard could have killed someone else though, what a little b!tch. He deserves to go to jail for a couple of years, maybe he'll grow up some and learn from his mistakes.

I still cant get this jail time for underage possession of alchol...guys, having possession of alchol is not a big deal...hell even if he drinks it, its not a big deal, so long as he doesnt drive afterwards...guys 19...hes old enough to kill someone in the military, as far as I am concerned that is old enough to have a beer.

Weed is different, that is an illegal substance...

Im guessing he had a 12 year old in the car earlier? still dont understand why this is an issue...maybe it was a little cousin?

lastly 100mph isnt rediculously fast. Now, granted if he was doing that in heavy traffic especially while weaving in and out then by all means he fully deserves a ticket and such...if he was passing on the shoulder same thing. Yes, he was putting peoples lives in danger by driving like an idiot if he was doing the above mention...yes he deserves to face consequences...but I dont think he deserves to die for it...you guys are getting crazy extreme...

Over here sometime our 400 series highways are cruising around 90ish mph which is well over the 60mph speedlimit, but everyone seems to cruise at that speed so that makes it less dangerous.

Rog, I'm not a fan of people doing stupid things on the road either, especially when it puts peoples lives in danger...all Im saying is the guy made a mistake, I know we've all done some really stupid things when we were younger...just for most of us it hasnt come back to bite us in the a**, and we are lucky about that...

the girl in the car with him was his 15yr old girl friend. here in the states, possession of alcohol underage is a big thing, hell just about anything to do with alcohol in a vehicle is a big thing here. the speed limit on that road is 65 if i remember right (been a while since ive driven it) that is the law. ohio is not very lenient on that, you may get away with up to 9 over and even thats pretty rare. like ive said countless times, thats NOT a highway you go flying down in midday traffic. there's a reason its peppered with state patrol, sherriffs and the local PDs. im really NOT surprised this was caught on a dash cam of a cop because there are that many of them on that highway, id be more surprised if it wasnt.

you say he doesnt deserve to die, all i can say is, what happens if that guard rail isnt there, he veers into the traffic on the other side of the road and kills a family on its way home from school/work? he still lives and they dont. what do you think of him then?

i should start my police stuff in the spring time, by summer ill be dealing with these kinds of people and you better believe i wont be taking it easy on any of them

Ya they are strict here to... 50km/h over the speed limit (which is 93mph in a 60mph zone) results in your car getting towed over here, along with your licence suspended for a minimum of 30 days...we're not lient either.

Secondly, on these types of roads/highways there will always be a guardrail there, the guardrail is there to protect on coming traffic in the event of a collision. The collision does not even have to be something resulting in someone being an idiot...it could merely be a car being sideswiped that would send someone into oncoming traffic if the rail were not up.

I'm not saying that anyone should take it "easy" on him in any way...I think he should have his licence suspended among other things...but dieing is extreme...

The only thing I can come up with as to why they mentioned the girl being underage was because there was alcohol in the car and she was not old enough to drink, but the writer didn't know how old she was exactly. If she was of age (21) the driver may not have been charged for the container of alcohol because it could have belong to her which is not a crime.

and vanbibber i find it very hard to believe that you dont break any laws when it comes to driving... and if you dont then im very surprised and proud of you; however if you break laws and speed at least ull fit in with the hypocritical officers your stationed with

Did you originally put a 3.4 in that Firebird?

I met a guy in 2002/2003 on thirdgen.org who was from Dayton. He owned a white '85 Firebird that he installed a 3.4 into. The guy came to my house in Cincinnati and stipped a wrecked blue '88 Firebird that I had and traded me a set of '85 taillights for the parts. That wouldn't happen to be you would it??

Hell I don't remember. All I remember is what I said.. I had a black '91 Firebird and a wrecked blue '88 Firebird in the garage. The guy contacted me on thirdgen.org and drove down to strip the car of parts before I donated it to the fire department. He owned a white, or I'm sorry.. it could have been a "frost biege" 1985 Firebird with a 3.4 swap in which he traded me the '82-85 style taillights from his car. During the sacred stripping of the bird, my friend showed up in his Lincoln Town Car and parked facing downhill in the side yard. He couldn't back the beast out without creating huge ruts and the guy was kind enough to tow him back out onto the driveway. At least I think that was the series of events from that day..
