I was wondering if you guys think this is a decent deal (I know the 305 isnt all that fast) I spoke with the guy selling this and he said besides what he said in the ad there are no issues and it was always stored.

Well, actually i think its an LG4 that only has 170hp :( thats only 10 extra hp. I was told I should swap a 350 in it
swapping a 350 in it wouldn be very difficult at all.. but i would put something like a 383 in it.
you can pick up an already built engine for like $3500 or less and swap everything you need, like starter, etc. from the 305 onto it. it will be a nice 450hp
10 hp is alot my friend since its a v8 its more peppy believe me its faster. but to swap you could just find a crashed one in the back for like 500$ on any street corner and theres a whole 350 swap because the 350s had better suspensions and streering raitos like our f-body brothers today

the weight of the v8 will make it slower than a comparable v6 IMO
So I test drove it today and it was definatly faster than my v6 but the steering colum could be pushed up and down easily. Also it was straight exhuast. It also needs to have the downshift cable readjusted. Do u think that these problems can be fixed easily and would make the car worth 2500.
