I ordered some stuff off of their website and they not only sent me the wrong stuff that I had to wait like 10 days for, but they forgot to put in my free $15 gift card for spending over 100 at their site. Just venting lol

Re: That darn autozone.com...
I will never shop at an AutoZone ever again. I waited in line behind seven other customers and had a long list of parts that I needed to order. Once it was my turn all of the reps had vanished to the back of the store where it sounded like they were having a damn party. I got into my car and drove across the street to Advanced Auto Parts, walked right up to the counter and ordered my parts.
AutoZone also has a tendency to employ people who know absolutely nothing about cars, or kids who feel the need to give their opinion on the type of vehicle I drive when I didn't ask them for it.
Speaking of Advanced Auto Parts.. they are okay but I have had a lot of luck and friendly customer service at O'Reilly Auto Parts. They get most if not all of my business.

Re: That darn autozone.com...
ive found most people employed at any auto parts stores are bozo's. but OReilly, Napa, and Car Quest seem to be better than autozone and advance auto parts in my opinion.Dave:

Re: That darn autozone.com...
NAPA has good customer service but are way overpriced compared to other parts stores and Wal-Mart. Around here we have KOI Auto Parts (Kentucky, Ohio & Indiana), they are usually resonably priced and have good service.
When I patron a store for parts and supplies, I don't need the 17yo child behind the counter telling me about his Mustang or Civic and how I should have bought one.

Re: That darn autozone.com...
meh, i's alright. I returned it anyway. I only bought it at autozone.com because they didn't carry it in stores anyway. But I got the part I needed off ls1tech so it doesn't matter.#1:1999 pewter metallic y87 rs A4 camaro.check out the pics on the link below
#2:Bright red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Re: That darn autozone.com...
It's still more proof that AutoZone needs to hire people who at the very least possess basic automotive knowledge and focus on improvements with their customer service.
For some reason it also bothers me that whenever I have been in there for oil and an oil filter, when I'm being rung out at the register the creepy sales clerk tries to push the "oil change package deal" on me where for extra cash I can buy a funnel, paper towels and an oil pan. When you say "No thanks", they act like your a jerk for not taking the offer. If someone is going into the store to buy oil change materials.. chances are they already have the necessary supplies at home. Unless your one of those who don't care whether or not your oil drains all over your driveway..

Re: That darn autozone.com...
Your best bet is to find a local parts store that isn't a franchise... They won't always have the same selection, but if customer service is important to you, then chances are you'll be alot happier...
I hate hate hate when people ask me if I want brake grease when I come in to buy spark plugs... lol. but we had similar programs at Sears when I worked there, so I don't take it out on the employee, I just say no, thanks and move onRebuilding the engine... Honestly, if I need a part outside of oil or other regular maintenance items, I will wait till I get back to Indy.1995 Pontiac Firebird

Re: That darn autozone.com...
Well it was shock mounts and insulators I bought, they sent me 2 different brands (which I didn't want to use to begin with but couldn't find good used oem ones) but then eventually found some off ls1tech so i'm golden.#1:1999 pewter metallic y87 rs A4 camaro.check out the pics on the link below
#2:Bright red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Re: That darn autozone.com...
Sounds like whenever I go into O'Reilly's. I always end up with the wrong part... right part number on the box, but wrong part within it. Problem with Autozone is that they sell a lot of junk brands.
And that Checkout Challenge at AZ sucks... so glad I didn't end up working there.'99 Camaro
