  • Question About Firehawks

Was the Trans Am front and rear bumpers and high rise spoiler an option on the Firehawk?

I have seen pics of a few that just look like formulas with the ram air hood?

can someone clarify the options? thanks

    Re: Question About Firehawks

You could get a firehawk as a Trans AM or the Formula. The Trans Am Firehawk was the more popular.

As firehawks come, i think the difference between t/a firehawk and formy firehawk isnt that differnt. Its ws6 formulas that are pretty rare. But yes firehawks are still rare and bad ***. I was looking at that car too, seems like a steal for that price, which worries me as well.

i would personally never buy a formula firehawk...

im surprised they even made them..i always thought firehawks were the absolute top of the line T/As...like it was originally a firebird trans am ws6 that they turned into a firehawk...almost depressing that they made a formula firehawk...like why?

The same could be said when comparing a formula to a trans am. It's all about personal taste. One has sexy subtle curves and the other sharper intimidating looks.

dude the firehawk was always based on the formula all the way back from 92 when the first 3rd gen was built (and much better than any other year) i dont know where you got the idea they were built top be top of the line anythings anyways, with the exception of the 92s they all have the exact same **** as a ws6 more or less with a few snazzy badges.

The firehawk option was an option from SLP that could be ordered on Formulas and Trans Ams. Have you all seen the G8 Firehawk? That'd be my pick.

Me, personally, the TA's front look looks kinda messed up. It doesn't flow right. That's why I prefer the Firebird or Formula. The pre-98 TA front look looks better than the Firebird.
