My contract is up with Sprint next month. I really like the Driod-X and might buy one! I currently have the BlackBerry Tour 9630 which was an upgrade from the Curve. I like having the BlackBerry because it is easy to link up to my work e-mail and personal e-mail. You'll have to let me know how the Droid-X works out. If it does what I need it to do which the majority is e-mail and internet.. I'll be all for it. -

I've heard very bad things from Droid users whose phones were killed by task killers.

download the first one on the list its the official one it have a little green guy icon. if you dont use it your battery will die in like 4-5 hoursComment

My friend has that phone and its pretty neat. There's tons you can do with it, root it and grant yourself super user access, run emulators to play all sorts of games, dropbox app lets you store files on your PC and see it on your phone, demotivators, epic fails, funny jokes, youtube app, andro zip, theres even a craiglist app lol, and theres tons of other neat stuff out there.

android phones are great, I have an HTC Incredible myself and love it. Only downside is that I can't see squat when I go outside, screen doesn't show up in sunlightComment

Man... my samsung captivate died on me today (droid galaxy s phone). I woke up late, touched my phone and it was like it was on fire. It was showing the battery icon and felt extremely hot to the touch. Won't turn on any more :(.sigpicComment

Yeah, I decided on it when my env3 screen crapped out on me. I told verizon and they just sent me a new env3 under warranty too, so I'll recieve that along with the droid x. After that you can search on google for certain .gba roms that you want such as pokemon, mario, street fighter, etc. www.doperoms.com is a good site.
Finally, when you open your game boid app, you have to navigate to the .gba file you want to launch and then you can play. the controls are transparent and appear on the screen.Comment
