they were rode hard, but they do get good regular maintenance. my friends dad has a 97 ex state trooper camaro, and it still runs strong, he also bought a impala with 90,000 miles and it had gotten a new motor and tranny at 60k. so im sure it will be nice, good luck!! hope you get it!!!

I was a Police Officer , I know for our defensive driving in the academy we tore the hell out of them(they had 3-4 crown vics for cadets to tear up on) to were 3 tires poped on 1 car, but it was a crown vic, LOL Most the Highway Patrol guys will get assigned the same car each time out and at first they will rip on it to know it limits , just like with each car a offficer gets. They do brake checks and turning manuvores so incase they have a high speed chase they know how thier car handles, J turns are done at the def. drifving course. They do get reg. maintance and suspesion checked so I'm not too worried. The kid had to replace a rear axle with a OEM one on one side since he hit a curb so thats why its Sat. intead of in my garage right now.LOL But with 2.73's and A4 it should get some great gas milage after I tune it with a wideband from my car, after the moding I hope to get it in the low 13's and still get great gas milage. Like said if my turbo 3.8 goes blown, all of the stuff from it will go to the 02' and I will buy a LS1 tub. K member and a light weight hood and add the 3.73's to get the LS1 in the 12's or high 11's.

Heres some pics from his add: Looks like its debadged

I like the white and black top, th ones I don't like in color are teal green and bright red thats about it. But if they had a LS1 in it then I would still drive them. LOL

Whats B4C mean? never heard of it? Also besides headers whats some good engine bolt on mods , LS6 intake and bigger TB? keepin coming, I plan on doing plug wires to 8.5mm with NGK plugs and RP either 20W50 or 10W30 , I run 20wW50 in my 3.8 to help protect it when I finally get the turbo on.

B4C is a cop car package. I'm sure someone else knows more about it but thats the simple explaination. :P

Thanks, I knew it was something like that, but I was looking for the meaning, I know someone will chime in and it will be something thats easy to guess. LOL Thanks anyway. being a ex-cop car I wonder if they beef up the suspensions on them like a 1LE type?

I believe this has the answer to your question Stevo

The Chevrolet Camaro B4C is a Chevrolet Camaro equipped with a "Special Service" police package, also known as B4C Special Equipment Options code ...

Heavy duty features include oversized front and rear sway bars, high-output alternator, larger (in years after 1991) four-wheel disc brakes, separate engine, power steering, and transmission oil coolers, and certified 145 mph (233 km/h) speedometer. Most of the heavier duty option parts come from a combination of parts from both the regular Z28 and the racing and handling package of the special 1LE option list ...

All LS1 F-bodies are cable driven.

Sounds like it'll make for a nice dd. Just don't let it get in the way of getting your turbo build finished up!

Built 4 Cops was what its short for.

Fits on the option sticker better as B4C;)

Get the deal done thats a great buy.

I was looking into an LS1 car about a month ago. It was a 01 Z28 hard top and it ran like a champ and I could have traded the V6 for it but I decided not to because I feel as if Id get bored with the car within a year.

Don't get me wrong Id love to do an STS turbo system to it but I just don't to invest in something thats not my dream car+I want to get into exotic cars within the next few months or years.
