Ok. Soon, I'll be starting my project... the '89. I wanna know you guys thoughts as far as appearance.

I'm torn between keeping it original looking ( as a Formula ) Or making it look like my old 87 GTA ( my 1st car )

I still have parts off my GTA like the wheels, aftermarket 90-92 Z28 spoiler, red seats, tail lights and etc.

Which look you think I should go with? I've even seen a T/A that had a formula hood with the GTA hood vents, that was kinda cool. :D

Thoughts? I'm leaning towards keeping it original looking but still not sure. (hence the thread, lol)

I voted for #1, but don't use the Iroc spoiler. But do use the turbo hood on that GTA body.

But honestly, I think you should convert it to a KITT. All you need is the nose and some black paint:

I voted for number one, seems like it would stick out more, and be cool. But if all you needed was the nose and some light, the KITT idea isn't bad either...:P

Shoulda voted "Other/Specify" if you wanted to suggest KITT. :P

I'd love to do it but there's a lil bit more involved then just the nose and paint.
Have to change rear bumpers, tail lights, totally change the entire car from red to black and the interior is grey and not tan, lol.

It could happen though, I've always wanted that car as a kid and was why I even had a 3rd gen car in the 1st place and also why I purchased another for a weekend toy. :)

Aw man, I love GTA's. There getting rare and more valueble too. Wish I had taken better care of mine. :(

As for this car, I'm almost convienced to keep it like it is... Just clean it up.

I voted to keep it original! The GTA is nice, but all of the ground effects make the car look heavy and bulky.

I've been looking on fquick at people's cars and I really like the way red formula's look.

Cars gonna appear bone stock. :D

Formula look is nice too. It is lighter than the GTA.
