Got approved for my 20K loan

So I have to wait a couple of days for the check then go pick up my 07' GMC Sierra crewcab 5.3 V8 fully loaded with chrome side rails and 17" polished wheels and windows already tinted. I'm will go down and test drive it in the next couple of days and then make sur I get the maintance records, I think it has 42,000 miles silver metalic ,leather interior. First thing I want to do is exhaust , intake and do a spray in bedliner. I did the 20K for 36 mon. since I want to pay it off in the next year or 2 , this will be the 6-7th vehicle I have owned. If I don't like it I think I'm just going to go with a new one and try to pay it off in 3 years. I will post pics once I get it.

I will post pics once I get it , the good news is I can take apart the Camaro now once I get the truck and do the turbo on it. I'm going to wait on the other engine mods and run it as is with stock heads and not the heads with the Manely valves. I figure why do a $1300 rebuild since the car runs perfect right now and if it blows something up I will have all the parts for a rebuild. The parts I still need are somemore Clev. 77 bearings all around , 9:9.1 JE forged pistons , and another VS cam or might do the 210/220 115 LS cam, and some misc. parts/gaskets. The rest I have along with 1.7 shaft mounted PRO mag rocker arms.

Actually they gave me 24K to buy one for a 36 month loan but I won't use it all since I'm going to put 3-6K down and it should total with GMPP warranty and etc. about 19K I think so I'll just use like 13K-16k to buy it. I might look at a 4 wheel drive also , I'm thinking about it.

Man, IMO, I would avoid '07's just cause its the 1st year for the new body style... My dad's '07 chevy has been in the shop several times working the bugs out of it.

Grats on the loan though. It's for sure you're getting a new truck. :)

2wd? 5.3? Man up. They made 6.0 Silverado's and Sierra's in 07, just gotta find a VHO or Vortec Max truck.

Yes , thats what I needed was a parts chaser, I might go with the 2012 6.2 Flex fuel 4X4crewcab since they have some great deals on them from some hail damage or a 2011.

I know you're probably after a full size pick-up but I'm currently looking for a Crew-cab 4x4 Z71 GMC Canyon as a DD. I love those trucks for some reason
