There is one good part of one of her songs! She mentions a Gold Trans Am.

And on topic: Face, meet glass wall.

If this was 2002 and not 2010, I would say her mentioning of a gold Trans Am in a song is the sole reason why Pontiac dropped the Firebird.

Kesha is a nasty, filthy whore.
I disagree with this...those artist aren't teaching anything, they are merely putting out music...irresponsible parenting that feel that the media should be raising their kids rather than themselves are the ones teaching those morals to their kids. Music is music...if you kid is going to be influenced by an artist to be a whore their wasn't any backbone being provided for them at home by the parents and that outcome is inevitable regardless. The media is their for entertainment not to educate your children...that's your job as a parent

^- You cant always know what there listening to though. My parents didnt even know what I listened to.

Nowdays with limewire, mp3 players and such if you wasnt constantly monitoring what there doing you would never know what they get there hands on. IMO.

This is a very common excuse, but there is some gray area to it if you look closely enough. It may be a parents job to teach a child morals, but what parent has the right to not tell a child he/she can't watch this or that? Isnt that what the constitution upholds, the right to free speech? It goes both ways in the entertainment world, both the artists right to freely express themselves, and the person who is listening/watching to freely interpret whatever the artist says/does. Even a parent has no right to nullify the constitutional rights their children are allowed to possess. If so, its a hypocracy. And although there are NEVER absolutes within the constitution other than life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, there is a reasonable window that a child should be able to have to watch whatever they want.

Our constitution isn't vastly different than your American one. Everyone is entitled to free speech, pending it doesn't infringe upon other people's rights freedom rights...

An artist can put out whatever song they want and call it "art" however; lets say they use racist slang and slant it toward a certain cohort of people it than violates their rights. Same is said with a lot of things; I can claim the holocaust never happened and my rights say I can believe in that (I'm just using an example) but if I start preaching that to other people it infringes upon their rights.....

                    Re: Justin Bieber...

yes and no...Im not saying regulate what the kid watches or hears...let them watch and listen to what they want...if they arent exposed to it in the media, you can damn sure bet they are exposed to it in real life...thats a shocker for a lot of people. The parents job is to teach the child what's right and what's wrong...you teach your child not to be a prositute that is a crack fiend...you teach them that music and movies are entertainment.

My parents used to let me listen to eminem when I was a kid back in grade 5-6...his album was on murdering and raping people...my parents taught me morals...I knew it was music and it was what it was...I grew up with a head on my shoulders...infact, eminem put it best when he was interviewed back in the day when he said if a kid goes out and shoots a cop because I say you should shoot a cop in my music, that kid was already messed up and going to commit that crime anyways, that kid was just looking for an excuse to do it. This is true of everything.

If the parents take the time to educate, the kids could watch whatever the hell they want, they'll take it for what its worth.

                      Re: Justin Bieber...

I grew up with quite a few kids in the neighborhood who's parents sheltered them, watched their every move, never allowed television unless is was PBS, bedtime was a 7:00 p.m. etc etc.. Those kids are now in their 20's, pot smokers, party and 1 that I can think of, Robert, has been in and out of jail recently.

I don't believe that any parent wakes up one day and thinks.. "Hey, I'll let the media babysit my children!" You can't monitor your kids 24/7 and everything that do, watch and listen to.

How old are you? I was in high school when he hit the height of his career. His voice is about enough to make ya mad. He's another piece of crap and I'm glad his career is winding down. Isn't he in his 40's??

22...I dont know how old he is, and I dont think his career is winding down any lol... and alot of parents these days do rely on the media...thats why they ***** and complain about what should and shouldnt be allowed on t.v...just like those sheltered individuals, if the kids havent been exposed to drugs/sex/violence on t.v, they are sure as hell going to be exposed to it in real life...these parents these days pretend like the stuff doesnt exist, and it's bad that this performer is a ****...well so is suzie in your kids grade 8-9 class...and how about those kids what are 4-5 years old who have older siblings who do the same stuff?

the way society is headed today, we expect society to raise our kids for us...ever notice the increasing number of daycares? Less stay at home moms? families are too much on the go, they dont have time for their kids anymore so they neglect to teach them proper values.

I always look for Thrash Metal on YouTube and quite often you can find people bashing on Justin Bieber like a baby seal to death which is righteous. We headbangers will never allow Justin to live lol.
