lmao, we're gonna get married. We've been dating for like over 5 years. I'm just procrastinating on the proposal. I've been putting more money towards the cars than a ring. We were actually talking about just going to the courthouse to get married for tax purposes until we can have that white dress wedding all girls want. I could care less. I'd be happier if it was just in the court room.
Get a nice ring - do a cheap wedding < 10 people. (Gatlinburg, TN FTW) You will thank yourself later...
I have too many friends, years later, with marital problems still trying to pay off their wedding...
Ok. I might take advice from you guys about car stuff, but anything else. No way. No offense.. But HAH! Let's be honest, you're all strangers to me. If I trusted everything I read on the internet, I'd believe Fondle has the fastest Camaro in the world.
is she into cars? he might have gotten lucky...there aren't many chicks like me who say "honey, these flowers are pretty but next time safe your money, or if you feel the need to spend money on me, an electric water pump or paxton sc would be delightful" lol
if not....you can't wait forever...she will move on....but at the same time spend as much time with your car as can now....cause once your married her silence turns into...you spend more time with your car than me and spend more money on that stupid machine too...i think it's time to sell it. then when you have kids....forget it. every spare second that you spend with the car is b!tched about to her mom and friends saying that you care more about the car that your kid. in the end she will win because either you will sell the car, spend almost no time with it, or get the big "D" and she get her lawer to win the fbody in the courts.
women...we're a clever breed :) in the end we allllllways win
My 68 Firebird made it thru a marriage, buying a house, adopting my wife's son, a second child (another 4 1/2 years of $700 child support payments :(), a divorce and second marriage. 2nd wife said to me one day " I want to build a racecar". WooHoo. Had to sell my 38' trailer and buy a 48' to get two cars to the track. :)
Yeah, my girl knows a little more about cars than the average chick, but more importantly, she knows I love em. I mean, we bought this house cause it had 2 things I wanted (a garage and basement) even though she liked other houses more. I get sick this week and text her about it and she comes home on her lunch break to set out medicine, food, and comfy clothes for when I get home. Oh yeah, and even though she doesn't race she loves going to the track even though we only have a tent to sleep in out there. Yeah, she's a keeper in my book.
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
