Temperatures are expected to plummet to 53 tonight with a high today of only 73. On Monday night it is supposed to go all the way down to 43 with a high on Tuesday of only 63!
We're planning on staying indoors on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to avoid frostbite. I heard cars cannot be safely driven when the outside temperature is below 50. They say the hoses may burst, the shock absorbers can crack and the windshields pop out because everything is so frozen and rigid. I'll probably have to work some short days so I can drive during the less cold hours without harming my car.
The local TV station's story on this matter includes a picture of a big mound of snow (see below). I wonder how many inches of snow we'll get here? My kids are looking forward to seeing snow. Of course, we won't lot them go outside to touch the stuff, but we'll let them look out the windows at it.
It was 79* this morning on the way to work. We had the windows up and the heat on.
haha I don't believe it. Do you guys really think its that cold? I was riding my motorcycle 15 miles to school this fall when it was in the upper 30s lower 40s. And I only wore a sweatshirt, jeans, leather gloves and a helmet. T-tops should be off when its 79* unless its raining out.
The past few days it has been 55 to 60 here in Denver, which is not normal lol.
Screw you! lol! It's been in the 20s here in western MD for the past couple days, and that's before taking into account wind chill. It's been windy as **** for like the last 36 hrs straight. And look at the projected weather for our next 36 hrs: http://www.weather.com/weather/today...sburg+MD+21783
A ****-ton more wind! When does the wind stop!! This has got to be the windiest week of the year so far. I can't even go outside, it's so ****ing miserable out. And it's only december, uggh.

I don't, I love it. Arabs, however, find it to be freezing. It is still close to 90* during the day, so they don't know how to deal with anything else.
When I was at school in Ohio, I would bring out the shorts whenever it hit high 40's. Not the case here at all
