HMMMM Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady. 'nuff said. You say scoreboard, I say stats! Up to this year... Peyton's got an off year.
Brady has had worse years than Peyton before. Only during Peyton's rookie year was he bad. Even this year, which is an off year, we can easily still win 10 games. I can't remember Brady every winning 12 games a year for 8 years straight, as well as I can't remember Manning NOT starting game.
Id LOVE to see Brady do the same with as much as an injured team as the Colts are right now. I think over the course of this year the Colts have had 15+ injuries to starters. 15 out of 22. Can't win games when you're pulling 2nd and 3rd stringers up, and signing people like Javarris James from the practice squad to start at RB. Colts are HURT, worst I have ever seen, and it shows.
Are the pats a better team this year, of course. Is Brady better than Manning, not a chance in hell. Brady is a puppet to Belichick, Manning on the other hand IS the O-coordinator. But the Jets....OVERRATED.

When the careers end we'll see who is deemed the better QB...mannings got regular season stats, for sure, but really brady is not far behind, especially for the lack chances or opportunities per say, that brady had compared to manning.
first superbowl for brady....wasn't an injured team, but it was a group of ALLOT of no names. Patriots just make it work, wether its the defense thats banged up or just full of rooks, or when we run two tight ends because we lack a RB, lol theres hardly EVER a fullback out there for the pats, the oddest run game i have ever seen, but it works. Brady gets his passes into everyone, including no namers.

*leaves thread before it gets ugly*
Check your stats? Peyton has 140 more TD's and 20k more yards...
manning has played 3 more seasons and has had a much more stout offense around him longer....per oppurtunity its kinda close, you need to look at other factors other then a number is all im saying.
brady/belichick will be going down in history is all im saying.
and yes, ill take belichick(cheating coach as you reference) and brady over manning anyday just a good combo. Ya you got manning to coordinate the O, but you dont got belichick, the guy who is a defensive mastermind, and has a nack for picking all around nasty players (IE. woodhead)....especially in crunchtime, as i think any other unbias sports enthusiasts would.

Nasty players, yes, Belichick a defensive mastermind.....
LOL
Tony Dungy was a defensive mastermind. There have been many people to go on and coach under what Dungy did, but Belichick? Make me laugh some more. Belichick is nothing more than a clever individual that looks for the weaknesses of the NFL to gain whatever edge he can, and he knows how to make 22 people play as a team on the field. His prowess at offense or defense doesn't exist. But since you want proof....
2003 pats vs. Colts, at the RCA Dome. McGinest fakes a thigh injury to stop the colts momentum when they're on the 1 yard line. You bastards had NO timeouts left, but because Belichick thought he was being clever by pulling this "injury" card, they managed to stop the TD for the win. It was a BULL**** injury, after which McGinest sprinted downfield after the stop and laughed about it to the press. The pats have done nothing but cheat their way into the history books since Belichick arrived there.
Manning will ALWAYS be the better quarterback. If the pats suffered the injuries the Colts have suffered this year, they'd be in a FAR worse position, probably fighting against the Bills to keep themselves out of the basement of the AFC East.
