  • Is it wrong to laugh?

So, in Colorado, it snows. Kids in high school, would rather eat **** and die than drive in the snow most of the time. So, current damage report out of a 1500 kid school, about 250-300 drive daily.

    2011 2LT Camaro, 4k in damages.
    1999-ish Eclipse Turbo, total'd.
    FOUR Jeep Wranglers, total'd.
    At least 3 4x4 trucks, total'd.
2007 Mustang V6, slid into a fire hydrant
    late 1990's Durango total'd...
    2005-6 Crossover, foriegn...
    Unknown Jag, hit a pole.
BMW 5 series of some kind, hit a curb at like 35

    4 F-bodies driven year-round, 0 damage. (I'm the only one in HS)

Is it bad to laugh, especially at the kid that talks **** with a brand new car, then wrecks it... And the people that think 4WD helps you stop!? And are people always THIS imbecilic in winter???....

Oh I love 4WD, it just doesn't help stop... I've been letting my mom drive the Dakota on snowy days this year, but I love that thing. Throw it in 4x4 and it's a blast.

          Yupp.. Always good.

Also, I have people ask me how I can handle a RWD car on ice/snow... REALLY? People like 30+ are asking a 17 yr old how to drive!? What has the world come to...

Got a manual, but I use second gear more than first in the snow. I seriously can't use first most of the time.

Yeah, it was one day. No, I live in a suburb, a wealthy one, but nothing too fancy.

Looks like some of these kids need driver training before they kill someone.

yup, not good to laugh though....I just pulled the neon off the road and put the camaro back on now that shes pretty much done...people always ask me the same thing...but they forget that half the pickup trucks and such out there are also rwd...put some snow tires on and drive the way your supposed to drive in snow and you're fine.

and people need to be reminded that its all-wheel drive, or 4-wheel drive...not all wheel stop and 4-wheel stop...the best is when I hear these people say "I don't need snow tires cause I have 4x4"...

If this is true, which I find most of your stories to be far fetched, you go to school with a lot of yuppy kids who need to get a job, save money and pay for their own car.

A highschool kid who drives a newer, expensive vehicle usually implies that the car was not only purchased for them, but they are also extremely popular at school... at least until sometime after graduation. Those who once thought of that kid as the shizznit! will end up working real jobs and eventually come to the conclusion that that shizznit! cool kid will likely never amount to anything and spend the rest of his/her life nursing from mommy and daddy's teeties!

Yeah, there's too many spoiled kids here... I know that. There's literally my Camaro, a 85-ish that my buddy Sean owns and then 7 Mustangs. And only one of the Mustangs, and the 2 Camaro's were paid for by the kid, the rest were given to them. And the Jag/BMW is their parent's "spare" car.
