Oh and on the note of # of cars, did anyone notice how many doubles of a car there is in GT5? It's almost like blue celica oh oh and we have a RED celica too!! Look! A GREEN one!! I enjoyed the first ones, but I love my damage physics and AI that doesn't act perfectly every single time.

I for some reason cannot get into the more technical racers. I give em respect for sure but eh, not my thing apparently. Weird.. Anyways, I just wanted to mention that I played a demo of NFS Hot Pursuit. It was pretty damn fun. Check it out if you haven't.

NFS seems pretty fun, ive been thinking about picking it up for a while now just havent had the time to yet. the only drawback to that game is the car selection isnt that big, but they hit all the badass supercars so its all good.

I'll stick to Warcraft and EveOnline. Never could get into Forza or GT, for that matter, I couldn't get into a PS3 or an xBox.

I seriously hate playstation controllers with a passion, everytime I see one I feel the absolute need to throw those things at walls to smash them with hammers. They're not made for people with large hands, so I feel like Im going to get carpal tunnel by holding one. As for an xBox, since the RROD incident, never been to fond of anything that doesn't work or had a history of just imploding on itself.

I figure why buy these consoles when I have a computer that far exceeds any console. And I feel no need to play a game I can beat in three days.

who plays singleplayer these days? i rarely do. everything is built for multiplayer online games, which has no end.

MMORPG is where its at. Cataclysm sold 3 million copies in 24 hours, and I don't even have it yet. Real online gaming ftw.

pft, black ops sold 5.6 million in 24 hours, last year modern warfare 2 sold 4.7million on its first day

Neither are MMORPGs.... FPS's generally do better, because anyone can play them, but depending on the platform youre playing them on depends on the sales. CoD is on all platforms, I have MW2 on this comp now, but Warcraft is only a PC game, and still sells 3 million copies in 24 hours for ONE platform only. Can't say thats bad at all. Didn't Black Ops come out on 5 platforms (Windows, 360, PS3, Wii, AND the DS)? Id like to have Black Ops for my comp, but the heat generated from my PC running MW2 scares me a little.

What sort of PC setup are you running? I just recently put together a new desktop.

This one is reaching its age, a MSI AMD board with a 9950 Quad-core Black Edition Phenom, 2gigs of DDR2 Ram, dual monitors, with an Nvidia GeForce 9800 card. Once AMD releases their Bulldozer (?) line, Im going to build another PC from scratch, give this one to my mom or something.

I've been wanting to build a new PC for a while now. Current rig is a AMD Athlon 5600(?) x2 64 oc'd to 2.6ghz, 3 gigs ddr3 and a nVidia GTS 250. Nothing to terribly awesome but its been reliable and can play Crysis decently enough (used to, and am looking at modding it again).

I'm a FPS single player guy, I love the STALKER, Far Cry 1, Crysis, kinda games. If it can be modded so much the better.

WoW lost its taste when me and a buddy ran our own server, just us two, and we made ourselves GM's and blah blah blah. I'm still paying for the monthly subscription, so if I could find a group to play with constantly I'm game, but the farthest I've gotten a character is level 19? idk, its been prolly 5 months since I've even logged in....

... has to be one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard in reference to video gaming. Reminds me of this thread made on Reddit a few days ago. Have you ever even played a good singleplayer campaign?

etc... etc...


I love multiplayer as much as the next guy, but having grown up on dial-up internet until I was 18 I've learned to love singleplayer too... Regardless, I can't wait for Diablo 3 and Dota 2 to come out. 'Til then I'm going on year 6 of my off and on addiction to counter-strike.

Racing games are the only thing I'll play on a console anymore (besides SSB64 with friends). Thumbsticks help.

FPS gaming on a console makes me feel like I have downs syndrome. Aiming with thumbsticks is torturous!

I can't say I'm surprised Mogobs plays WoW, and that's all I'm going to say about that.
