        I have no idea why you insist on ricing out a Camaro, that bumper looks like ****, the wing looks like **** and the body kit im sure will, well, look like ****. Im not trying to talk ****, cause it after all is your car, but if you want the appearance ****, not performance, be like 99.9999999 percent of the other tards out there and put that body kit and spioler on a ****ing civic and join the ****ing rice crowd.

              @Unique96Camaro

              You're taking a lot of beating here so I want to give you my objective perspective. I was young at one point too and this is part of growing up. You are still refining your personal sense of style and taste. If you don't stifle your personal development I guarantee you won't be doing the same stuff in your 20's and 30's. I know 20 isn't far off from 18, but I guarantee you will look back at your 18 year old self and see a totally different person. When you're 25 and think back to 20 you will get another shock ;). The only people who don't change are the ones that aren't; trying new ideas, experimenting, refining, and learning from mistakes.

              When I was your age I rattle canned every piece of plastic trim in my old Chevy Lumina. I made it match the red trim of the Euro Lumina model. At the time I thought it was better than the terrible faux wood trim. I also installed cold cathode lighting in the foot wells, which was not subtle due to it's lime green color. I also fabbed up a cold air intake and some other "free" mods. In retrospect it was all extremely silly since it was a grandma car with no performance potential and not a Euro trim. But I learned how a car works, how to maintain my own car and be my own mechanic when money is tight no matter how hard the job.

              My take on your car is that it's quite unique ;-). The spoiler is too much. I wouldn't have picked that body kit, but if you can get it aligned its not the end of the world. I'm not sure which kit that is, but it's possible it's designed for wide body front fenders. Below is a link to a wide body kit photo, notice how the fenders are like hips to fit the wide rims:

              Wide Body Camaro Kit

              Your paint job is terrible, sorry but I have to be blunt here. If you're using rattle can paint, please stop. Get an air compressor and air brush kit. It's surprisingly not that expensive! Just shop around for a low end unit. Even Harbor Freight hardware will do if you're on an extremely tight budget. Also check local classifieds, craigslist, etc.. for used tools. Then you have to start practicing. Painting cars is half skill and half art. I would love to paint cars, but I can not do it. I pay a professional to do it for me. When I have more free time I will practice on my spare/grocery car just in case I've got some talent left to discover. The paint scheme could be OK if it were done professionally, but I'm not a fan of that shade of blue personally. I think that a professionally painted scheme like that in high gloss (candy paint) would be something that you could pull off. Most paint looks reasonable if the paint job is done well.

                see now that was way more polite. And everyone the front bumper is not even lined up cause maybe it hasnt been fitted yet. (ever think of that). Its fricken cold here and i cant get anytime to work on the kit or the car to make it fit better. give it time and ill have it all fit up perfect. and im getting a pro paint job once all the body work is done ( The flames are window crayons did for my b-day and are washed off now) im never actually putting flames on my car. and the blue WILL NOT EXIST ON MY CAR ONCE ITS ACTUALLY PAINTED its going to be like a navy blue with a metalic in it with black stripes on the hood trunk and corvette fender stripes with a chrome pin stripe it will really set off the car. This thread was to show what i did for my birthday not ( MY car is done check it out) give it time ill let you know once i think everything is done k

                  Re: My camaro for my 18th

                  I promise the reason people don't care for the bumper is not because it doesn't line up properly. It's because it doesn't flow with the lines of the car and looks like it belongs on a riced-out honda civic.

                  The nbm and black will look much better, but I don't think there is anything you can do that will make that spoiler or that front bumper look anything but awful.

                                Looking at the way the bumper sits I will be surprised if you can really get it lined up correctly. And even then it will look like a riced out front bumper that has no place on any Fbody. My thing is why would you even put the bumper on if you werent going to "line it up correctly" in the first place? If you are going to do something at least do it right in the first place. But like I said, no matter how you line it up the bumper is going to look like a complete and udder turd. And if you cant take the flaming dont post pics of your car, unless it is on a civic forum, in which case they MAY appreciate it. kthnxbai
