    Hey,

I'm a f-body lover and come from a big family of the same. I currently own a '97 Camaro RS which I will post a picture of down below. My 97 is pretty damn stock still unfortunately. I have a set of 17x9 American Racing Torque Thrust M wheels, and a decent sound system in it. (Sony X-plods in rear, alpines in front, and an X-plod head-unit). I got the car when I was 17 and Ive had big plans ever since, unfortunately, going to college and having a girlfriend consumes all funds that would otherwise be applied to my RS. It's depressing really. Anyways if you have any questions about me or my car feel free to ask...

    A lil background...

    My grandma has owned 2 fbody's, a 73 Camaro and a 76 Firebird,

My uncle has had ... damn i dont even know how many... but currently has an all original 76, a 69 RS/SS that he's doing a frame-off resto on, a 02 V6 convert daily driver(technically my aunt's car), a 68 waiting to be restored and another 69 RS waiting for resto... (not to mention his 32' ford built onto a 95 s-10 frame with a 327 chevy, and his 98 s-10 convertible, and multiple other projects (no kids))

My dad owned a white 76 Camaro when he met my mom, and now has a '79 that hes in the process of building

My older brother's first Camaro was a 94 V6 that he bought off my uncle, then in college he got a red 97 V6 t-tops, he still has both of those and has recently added a 2010 Camaro RS 6-spd to his stables :D... I'll post pics of my brother's cars soon..

and Finally me... My very first car was a 89' Camaro RS with a 2.8L and auto tranny.. I put a custom true dual exhaust , sound system, grant gt-440 steering wheel, and lots of other little things on that car and loved it more than anything. (yes i know true duals on a 2.8 is kinda retarded but hey, I was 16). Unfortunately, freshman year of college, I had to sell that car to a kid in the next town over because i needed money. Worst mistake of my life. I've been trying to get it back for a year now . And this leads me to today, I have the 97 RS that I drive every day of the year (even in the great salt infested roads of upstate NY).

btw, does it always take so long to get approved for this site? I've been pending for, probably a month or more. (not trying to make enemies or disrespect anyone, just pointing it out in the event that it has gone unnoticed)

my cars can be seen on my fquick page (still in construction)

Glad to have another member :)
My family has a similar story. My dad had:
68 Camaro Pale Green convert number 00081 (Seriously.)
68 that he was building as a drag car.
                67 Basically normal..
                76 Hugger Berlinetta 305
                72ish Z28
Now he's got a 94 Trans Am and my 2000 Camaro.
And correct me if I'm wrong guys, but future reference I think f-body applies only to 93-02 Camaro/Firedirds.

                    Re: Introduction

Nope, they are considered F Platform cars all the way from 1st generation. Or so Wikipedia says.

Well then... shady dealer that I bought my car from lied to me. Sorry for sounding like a jackass.

But I agree. Those wheels are sick. How much are they? My phone doesn't wanna let me load their website

The 2010's on arent F-bodies anymore, though.
