Haha, Bird_of_Prey I'm listening. I'm looking into everything everyone has posted. To be honest this is beginning to be more work than its worth.
I was hoping some fellow Texans would hop on and have some insight to these tricky laws. I've lost contact with the people I knew that have done this before and the DMV doesn't exactly "adverstise" this way to title a vehicle. There used to be specific forms you'd ask for in situations like this. Oh well.

Yes, there is a VERY specific form. It's called a LIEN RELEASE, from the lien holder of record. There is NO other way. Any other way you may try will circle you back to this.

If it were a 2007 that was paid for with cash, NO LEIN.. and was sold without a title, then sold without a title again and sold again another 10 times... to the point where nobody knows who the original owner was, and theres no title then it would be POSSIBLE to acquire a title for it.

But since thats not the case, Its not going to happen.

It will be more of a headache then anything.

If you want a title, your probably gonna have to pay for it (the remaining balance on the lien.)
