Anyone else running this on a laptop or computer? It's a great game, graphics are pretty kick *** and it's fun. At least to me it is, haven't had my PS2 for about 4 years so this is my first intro to the newer games.
The problem I've had is the steering sucks ***. I just ordered a gamepad, playstation like controller, for the laptop so I'm hoping that resolves it but anyone got experience just using the keyboard for this game? The only way I can describe it is if you broke a ****ing tie rod and it just kept over compensating one side to the other. The time trials are pretty much impossible because you end up with about 40 seconds in penalties.

does the controller have the analog sticks? other wise it'll still kind of suck, all these new games are built to use either a wheel or analog sticks (for more precise steering since its more pressure sensitive than either a keyboard or traditional directional pad will ever be)

It does so I'm hoping that fixes it. Right now if you tap the right arrow the ****er shoots into the wall. I got an NBA2K11 too and realized using the keyboard with that doesn't work either so the controller should fix that one as well.

Anyone know of any cheat codes for either game, more for need for speed? Maybe some way to turn off the stupid penalties.

Yeah, those penalties are the reason I played the game for a few hours and then quit. So frustrating. The races besides the time trials are decently fun, but when a game is that excessively difficult, I don't find it fun in the least, even though I did eventually pass every time trial I started.

i play it on computer, but use one of the playstation like controller. The game is awesome though, it handles like a dream with the joy sticks on the controller.

I wouldn't quite describe it as a dream. I've gotten the controller and it handles better than before. It becomes difficult however when the game forgets that I'm not using the keyboard and randomly switches to either the keyboard or directional pad in the middle of the race.

At this point I'm happy with barely passing and that's still after 5+ attempts. To get to the next levels and open up more races I'm going back and rerunning ones that I like and dominate, in other words not time trials.

For some reason I kick *** as a cop on this game. Something about being able to destroy other cars, force them into oncoming traffic and otherwise kill them that makes me happy. I need help lol.
