The point is that people shouldn't be "afraid" to share. Is that not the point of this place, to share different veiws and ideas on our cars? Is that not the reason that this place exists? To share different veiws and ideas for our cars?

anyway - if that is the point.. then why are you getting mad at people for sharing their view about uniques car being hideous?
What I don't understand is why a lot of you seem to have an overwhelming urge to act likle a highschool bully and constantly torment him.
I understand that if he asks for opinions thats one thing. Some people simply give their opinion. Iv'e said before that it was not what i would choose and i think the body kit front end does not fit the car well. With that said a lot of people dedcide to get nasty and insulting. And as i previously pointed out some people have made personal attacks against him, I.E. pre this post. There is no excuse for that. Unique has never had a thread that was titled "Hey guys give me your opinion on my intelligence" yet I get the idea people seem to get that from somewhere. It's not just aimed all at him, I've seen a lot of negativity on this board as of late.
I mean come on he was attacked simply posting in the western region section simply to see if anybody was out near where he may be moving.
Heh, I think his car is a ridiculous physical manifestation of the rice mindset, and his typing is bad, but he never does anything wrong. I'd tell people to @#$% themselves too if they said the same things to me. Nothing ban-worthy. All forums need a punching bag :D
I agree there is a lot of hostility on this site!There are forums all over the internet from guns and game consoles to cars,motorcycles,tradesman,etc. The idea is to share knowledge, learn, and enjoy the interests that you share with everybody else in the world/country or whatever. I have gotten a lot of help and opinions "and parts" from members of this forum so I'm not trying to make a vulgar general statement.....There certainly is a fair amount of hostility here. But whatever....It's the internet who cares what people think. There will always be haters but we are all here because we own F-body's! "And because I'm banned from Facebook!":spank:

I wouldn't go that far. Even I have to abide by the rules, only difference is that I get a little more leeway to be honest. Doesn't mean I roam the board without a leash of my own.

You know what, maybe you're right. But don't sit there and say he doesn't ask for it, maybe not to this extent, but there's either two conclusions to his posting.....either he really is that stupid and just doesn't notice it, or he does it out of spite. I think its the latter.
Unique may take being the "forum punching bag" pretty well, but you're all setting the tone for the next high schooler that comes here looking for car advice. Treat him the same way and I'm certain they'll leave and won't bother coming back.
Wrong. I have been here a better part of 10 years, and the ones who do have crazy looking cars and keep posting about them usually take the hits as they come, and have eventually worked their way into this social community pretty nicely. Anytime you have something different, something odd, something outside of the norm, you WILL get fuct with. That has nothing to do with the internet, nothing to do with this message board, its human nature. We inherently and subconsciously do it, no matter who we are. Nature tells us we don't like "different". Thats what it is. No matter how courteous you can be, something in all of us knows that we don't like difference.
Unique is just that, unique. He has not shaken a bit by the comments, I think that in itself is impressive. But to say this board is negative and demeaning is overdoing it quite a bit. I am on FAR FAR FAR worse than this site, and it could be worse.
As long as English is the spoken tongue of this country and this message board, I think it appropriate that it is used in a somewhat legible and un-offending way.

Valid point. Extremely hard to be taken seriously or with any respect if you can't properly communicate with the community. Simple fact is, Unique posts most of his posts as if he was txtg his bff OMG...LOL. Cmon. That goes for anyone. If you haven't figured out by now when to use a period, quotation marks, proper spelling, and whatever common grammar I can't think of at the top of my head, don't expect ANYONE to take you seriously.
I agree the amount of consistent flaming he gets is ridiculous. especially on this last thread where he was asking about people living in Wyoming and he is automatically hammer for grammatical errors. Its not like its an english paper, you can tell what he means.
The threads about his cars, yeah sure, let him know you don't like it. Then let it go. Its his car, you do not have to drive it.
Then you have a certain moderator who instead of doing damage control, jumps in and says that he is going to get shot and buried in the plains somewhere. Can you imagine if one of us had posted that on a thread he made about a new place he was moving to?
