Possibly powedercoat the rims black with the same white letter tires.

Don't you dare throw powdercoated wheels on that car. Its a '70 LeMans, not a '96 TA.

Chrome or polished is the only way to go with a car like that.

My vote... clean up the wheels. A good polishing should do the trick. After you've addressed the mechanical stuff and interior, go with a satin black and polish up yhe chrome accents.

looks just like my 69 Custom S but a lot better condition. base engine in mine was a 2bbl 350 rated w/more hp/tq than my 78.

Classic industries, Ames, NPD all have restoration products.

6.6 denotes a 400 engine, a nice set of Ralley II's, or even some keystone klassics will made the ride killer & period correct. also look into some redlines, coker tire makes them iirc

Yeah I've did some looking on those sites.
I cant seem to figure out what emblems it had though. VIN calls it a tempest but I dont see emblems labeled as tempest.

Did these cars have lemans badges or were they badged a tempest?

I thought that too but from what I've read on wiki, in '70 there was only the lemans sport and tempest custom the base model. I dunno, its very confusing, Lol

If I cant find any answers I may just drop tempest and call it and badge it as a lemans.

I find it funny that the 1st GTO in 64 was labeled as a "Pontiac Tempest Lemans GTO" Thats a mouth full, lol.
