I happen to like the look, but you can't call one gay and not the other. It just doesn't seem right.

I think that VHT Niteshade or wtf it's called is gay, and further more it looks like crap. If vinyl stickers are gay, then so are CAMARO inserts for the rear tail panel, right? A lot of people have those, including me at one time. Oversized rims are really, super gay.. but they do seem to be losing popularity. There is gayness among us in the auto culture.. you can't run from it, you can't hide from it and you can't change it. It is what it is.

You just made fun of both of my cars. One has blacked tails and rear sidemarkers, and the other has the chrome rear camaro inserts. But the blacked out lights car is black and the chrome inserts car is silver so to me, they don't contrast and look out of place.

To me, the idea of making a car look good is getting a double take. Something that someone wouldn't notice right away and stick out like a sore thumb but looked at again because it is different but sleek and tasteful.

I guess it would be more interesting to see a really fast car going down a drag strip than it would be to see a car who's owner has spent thousands of dollars on appearance mods. I figure the car looks good the way the factory made it, why mess with it?

FWIW, I have ONE sticker on my car, its a small 3" x 3" IMS logo (all my cars have had them). Thats all I would ever intend on doing when it comes to appearance. Ive always bought things out of purpose, and if it doesn't serve a purpose, then its not worth buying. Now try not to get linear with that, Id like to have a fast car, and although there is no purpose in it, I still want one. But slapping **** on a car serves no purpose but to catch the eye, and that is not worth the money IMO. Other than a decent set of wheels, Ive always appreciated the conservative look in a muscle car, or any car for that matter.

That was just a listing of what most of the world considers gay. I have exactly ZERO stickers on my car. I prefer subtlety. Cheap *** clear corners are gay. Smoked isn't bad, because it's subtle. Maybe I don't feel the need to advertise what I like to everyone else as I drive around. Who cares. I agree with your VHT Niteshade statement. I'm usually not a fan unless it's done exceptionally well. If it looks like you just rattle canned your tail lights,

Seen a clean 5th gen Prelude over the weekend that had the tial's niteshaded. It really brought down the appearance of the car.

The only stickers allowed on cars are: racing stripes, small car club logos or drag cars.

Unless of course you drive a Honda; you need the stickers for the boost in horsepower!
