I'm also hearing AWD as an option on chargers now... If this bad boy had the hemi AND AWD, OMGWTFBBQ that cars gonna be bad a$$.
And can you say SH!T mileage? Looks like an Evo crossed with a Charger to me. I can't decide if I like it, although I'd take the ZL1 over this any day.
Ok im liking it for sure but it keeps reminding of me a Lancer EVO.
It's kind of like a good looking, non-ricer version of the evo with a badass power plant.
So far, from what I understand, the awd seems to be a v6 only option, so I kind of doubt they'd put it on this, but if they do, that would be amazing.
Edit: Hmm.. nevermind. Looks like for 2011, the AWD is only available on the V8 models. A pretty impressive 23mpg highway with the awd V8, too. No mention of the 2011 SRT8 on the dodge site though yet.
also isnt that challanger getting a 392cu in making 450-475ish hp?
It's an awesome awd system imo. When power to the front wheels isn't needed or the system is turned off, 100% of the power goes to the rear wheels. No loss of fun with all the benefits of awd!

well if there is no loss of fun i will take it lol
The Camaro is decent. Id honestly own neither of them. For the price of that ZL1, id just go get a CTS-V, and drive around in a more classy car with more creature comforts. IMO, the CTS-V is still the better looking car, hands down.
I'll take a better pic(s) of it when Im at the Chicago Auto Show, if its still sitting there.
Still waiting for the Charger concept styling that came out in 1999...
Remember the 1994 Venom?
The Vipers and new Challengers are crafted and designed nicely but I am not fond of a Hemi stuffed in a box styled vehicle. Let's see what FIAT does to the Charger in the future LOL :D

How can you call that boxy when there are cars out like the Nissan Cube, the Scion XB, the Honda Element, the Mercedes G550, etc, etc.
Admittedly, the back of this new charger totally ruins it for me, but I think they did a really good job on the front end, although painting that center grill piece body colored would take away a lot of the Evo resemblance which would be nice.

in the future? this car has FIAT all over it already, which was the reason it and everything else in the chrysler/dodge line up got reworked. christ they do own the premier super car company of the world, so id say its safe to say they know a thing or two about cars.
i cant wait to see what the viper will look like in 2 years when it comes back, for all i care, they could base it off a F430, squeeze the viper's v10 in there and call it good.
...the viper v10, 8.4 liters...raw awesomeness, they can put that in anything and i would love it!!!
