I looked for G6, but the oldsters down here don't usually drive one. God bless the old folks - buy loaded cars and barely use them.
I really like the Chevy interior on the Mallibu as compared to G6 or Aura - it is very well done. Just my personal preference.
I prefer the Aura interiors... and the G6s are the worst of the 3 interior wise. Also most of them have dated engine/tranny combos compared to the Malibu and Aura.
I'm retiring the Firebird from daily driver status to weekend fun car. I'm not getting rid of it. Nuh-uh.
My wife wanted me to get a larger car to be able to drive the kids and family around easier now that my sons and their friends are bigger. Rather than sell the Firebird and buy a new car, I looked around for a low mileage used car at a good price. I think I found just that in the Malibu.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

what engine/tranny combo? I have a 2k7 3.5L vvt A4 and it gets like 21-24 normally, and gets high 20s and sometimes 30s on the highway. Its nothing mind blowing but wouldn't say its bad on gas, especially for a 4 door car with side curtain airbags, and 224 hp.
I think I the last time I checked my average fuel usage it was like 21 mpg over the life of the vehicle(I have logged all fuel fill ups since 2007) I need to update my spreadsheet. I know that doesn't sound much, but that includes long higheway trips, and me sitting in a car under a tree withengine running, eating lunch.
I've got the A4 3.5L but it's the hardtop Convertible (not sure if the extra weight makes a big difference).... I beat the living hell out of it, the lease is done in May.....LOL. I get crummy milage because I use the slapstick frequently to try and save my breaks (which need to be changed VERY badly but I'm too cheap to change haha). I love the car but it should get better milage IMO, even when I don't rag on it.

I paid the tax, tag and title costs today (grumble, grumble). I ordered a specialty tag (we've got over 130 different license plate designs here). I was thinking of going back to the UCF tag, but i liked several others. I settled on this:
Plus, I had it personalized to include "UCF" in the numbers / letters. They say it'll take 6-8 weeks to receive the custom plate from Raiford.

The florida plates are crazy.... I have a few different plates hung up in my man cave - I would really like to know where the Florida plates from my Camaro went. They went missing when I imported the car.
