Looks like that pristine classic can only survive in the desert heat, no rust or patina to be found.
Reminds me when I was on a body panel hunt on a cold damp day in New Hampshire's 'Camaro Heaven' for my '91 Firebird. This 53ft tractor trailer rolls in from Arizona, the barn doors open and out comes this desert faded, white '69 Malibu for a resto job. Dude drove cross country to show it off and pick up a suitable 350 to get it running he told me and offered to show me his other classic collection. Wish I hadn't declined his offer back then but ya gotta love old Detroit iron.
All I'm saying is there are people parting with their beloved classic cars in this damned recession. Nice find on the Oldsmobile but for $68,000 laying around, I would buy a $45,000 2011 Corvette Coupe 430 HP LS3 in black and have the rest of the cash directed towards mods. LSX
