youre mentally retarded, the lancer is junk its only saving grace is the Evo and thats not saying a whole lot considering its on its way to the dumpster.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
I'm going to jump in here and agree with bibber, the Lancer is a hunk of ****. My co-worker recently ditched his Lancer OZ because it was constantly falling apart, at 40k miles. Mitsubishi is also notorious for transmission problems. I have heard nothing but bad publicity for MM.
If I had to choose between a Lancer or a 200,000 mile 1995 Ford Contour for daily driving, I'd probably pick the Ford hands down. With that said, the G8 is 100x better than anything Mitsubishi could produce imo.

I think the affordability of the 4th gen cars and the 99 to 04 Stangs probably has more to do with it.
That is just a numbers game. GM axed Pontiac knowing that potential buyers would probably choose another GM product like Chevy, Buick or even Cadillac. It's not like those people evaporated or completely defected to other brands.
