Few updates. :)

Now that I'm working some again, I've been able to get some things for my '70. :)

Replaced the starter and got a new battery (battery in it was not enough battery for this car)

Got the black paint OFF the headlight trim and added some beauty rings to the wheels. :D

I'm not real sure right now. Gas gauge quit working, doh... I keep topping it off after every other trip. Uses about 3 gallons in a 10-15 mile trip so It's not doing too bad for what it is.

Indeed. Whoever went crazy with black paint on it was crazy. Zylene really does the trick getting paint off. Took a bit but it got all the black paint off.

Next is the "pontiac" emblems, same thing. Painted black and am gonna pull the arrowhead off and get the black paint off. Turns out that arrow head is HARD to find for this car. The "pontiac" letters not so much.

Its been a fun car, lots of attention and lots of getting used to! There's so many things I've had to get aquainted to, lol.

Like the bright's, I couldnt get them to come on. Turns out theres a button on the floor board where your feet rest.. Why dont they do that anymore? It's alot simpler to me, (once I knew where it was anyways) lol.

My 1st car with a carb, wow.. It's also been fun trying to start it, LOL! Sometimes it starts w/out pumping the gas, sometimes it needs one pump, then when It still doesnt start and I pump it just 1 time too much it floods.

It's gonna take me a bit to get used to it. :)
I also picked up a 6.6 to build in the future for it, btw. :D

Beauty rings. They just pop in the ridges/lips in the rims. :)

I am too. All these movies lately with chevelles, GTO's and 442's got me into A-body cars and found this car and got a killer deal by trading my 96 v6 bird.

Yeah I probly had about 3-4k invested in it(bought it for 800$ tho) But I sure couldnt have sold it for that. Most LeMans I saw for sale were asking 6k+ for them and they were less than nice condition compared to my car.

I could probly sell it for at least 10k if I wanted. :D (not going to tho lol)
