Tim King. Car is for sale. He posted here occasionally about the progress of his car. Far as I know, no one else has come close to it....but there was also about $50k in that car.....

I agree...

But, I still think drag times should be rounded. Like that 8.9 time (to me) is considered a 9 sec time.

On the other hand, I would hate to be that guy, and see me posting this. I'd be pissed.

No, its an 8 second time. If it was a 9 second time, it would be 9.xxx. That was an 8.991 time, hence an 8 second time. And to be honest, there was still more to be done to that car....

That's why I said, TO ME. I have strange philosophy and I know it... That .009 sec is seriously just what? Fractions of an inch... I know it's an accomplishment, but meh. I would round to the 1/10th
