Weird options. Power windows, but Radio delete? Crossfire injection? Base level wheels. I wouldn't pay that kinda money for it, nor do I think it looks good at all.

Not to mention at the time CAFE standards absolutely choked all performance cars of the late 70's/early 80's. Looks good, but thats all it has going for it.

Not a fan of 3rd gens. I do like the 86 to 91 Camaro's. But none of the Pontiacs. Don't get me started on the 82-85 Camaro's, they are for some reason knuckle busters.

I am a big fan of 3rd gen birds, the '82-84 Trans Am and all '91-92 models. The black and gold '82-84 Trans Am is a classic! Sure, the 305 couldn't get out of its own way, 145hp or a 165hp.. don't remember which one? and the crossfire fuel injection had its share of problems, but the car just looks amazing and I have never seen one this clean.

If I had a lot of money sitting around and collected cars, I would be willing to go as high as $25k just to park it in the garage and stare at it. It would be driven a few miles every so often, but mostly remain a trailer queen.

Wow thats amazing. This reminds me of an article I read in a car magazine (cant remember which one, I think it was car and driver) this guy inherited an container from his uncle that was stored in cali, the contents were unknown, he went to look to see what was in it thinking it was full of junk but sitting inside was a black '85 IROC-Z (first production year of the IROC's) with less then 100 miles with all the plastic still in the car and the window sticker still on the window. I would kill to have that car.

That car is gorgeous! The 3rd gen is my favorite then followed by the 2nd gen. If I was just born 10 years earlier, I would have been old enough to drive and have enough money to buy one. Knight Rider is what got me into Firebirds.
