  • Good deed of the day...

I should probably watch what I say on the internet, but my good deed of the day was at around 3:30am today...walking back to our hotel from the club (it's our long weekend here) and there is a guy in a truck/suv flooring his car doing laps around the parking lot like it's an autoX or drift session...watched the guy do about 3 laps while I was walking and talking with a few buds and one of my girlfriends...guy was an idiot, so I pushed my one girlfriend inbetween a couple of parked cars and told her to stay there cause this guy was gunna hit someone...not 10 seconds later this guy SMOKES a brand new car (I'll refrain from saying the makes/models)

Anyways, guy doesn't stop...pulls up a bit and waites...then wheels off down the lot and stops again...I go, F*ck this, I'm getting this guys plate and leaving my info I don't care if this starts a fight or not (and I'm a small guyz
) Jog down get his plate...guy takes off

Call it into the cops as a hit/run and they send down two cruisers. Talk to the cop for a good 30 minutes and give my statement/sign my name...I think they nabbed the guy because they asked where the damage was on the SUV...when I told him he radioed over to another cop asking if ther was damage there (turns out the kid had damage to both sides of his vehicle...probably from another hit and run...F*ckin retard)

They got my info anyways and I'll 100% go to court and make sure this guy gets f*cked...I hate gutless a**holes like this.

I would only hope and pray that someone one day might go to bat for me if they ever see my car get hit like this..

From my quick view of the damage, I'm guessing at minimum over a grand worth of damage...rear quarter panel and bumper were hit...car was knocked cockeyed. In its spot so possible suspension damage as well maybe? It got hit right above the rear tire...so it's very possible. The car was pretty new to, so probably still under a lease or finance maybe as well...owner was no where in site...just gutless

Rock on for taking the guy down. If the penalty for stealing horses was hanging, I think the same should go for hit and run. You're killing someone's "steed". I had a similar situation, was in my parked firebird outside my apartment when some old ***** in her SUV just creams the car parked behind me, completely sideswiped it and literally peeled off the side of the van. Her suv (with a bullbar) is barely damaged, and she just cruises off. I follow her to her house, get her plates and address. She sees me and goes "Oh, did I hit your car?" It's obvious that she's completely incoherent. I say "No, but you'd damn well better go back and leave your info on the car you did." I leave and call the police, give them her info and then watch from my apartment window as they investigate the car and then go around the corner and take her away.

That's good to hear man. Most people would do the easy thing and just walk away. Reminds me of that "investigation" one of those news stations did. They hired some kids to vandalize a vehicle in a populated area and see how many people would actually do something about it. I think like 3 out of 30-40 people walking by actually said something or called the police.

Is a scratch on a car possibly worth a bullet in the leg, neck or head? You try to get plate numbers off some of the people around here that commit such things, and chances are better than not that the individual in question probably has alot more on his record than a hit and run. These Kings and Disciples around here will hit cars all day, but Im not dumb enough to say anything to the cops if I see it happen. Food for thought.

The likely hood of these clowns having a gun out here is minimal...our gun laws are wayyyy to strict for that...a scrap on the otherhand maybe...we were outnumber 4/3 as far as guys go...I'll take those odds

Like I said, I can only hope someone would do it for me...and when I got the guys plate I circled round back and got it...I kinda crept up on the car...I don't even think they noticed me cause they sat there forever...I only had to grab it a second time because my buddies g.f read the plate number wrong off the phone when we called it in (we were a little tipsy, hence why we walked...)

Plus this area was a long weekend haven...cops everywhere...least of my worries is getting shot...

                        1. I wouldn't live in an area that tolerates gangs. I'm pretty sure nothing would be worth living in an area like that.

                        2. I would do what I can to keep *******s like that in line before they were to overrun my city, like call the cops if I were a witness to a hit and run. And I would hope other people wouldn't just sit back and be too scared to do anything either.

I had a good one a few years back, to long to get into. I guess karma got me back b/c I met the woman of my dreams a few months later. :) Yea, I called the cops and the guy got busted right in front of me. You know how hard it is to stop 23,000 lbs going down a bridge b/c of a dumba$$?
