My unit is in the field right now. We had nothing to do at the moment so we decided to make a video. Its really about nothing lol but we do make fun of overweight soldiers... if you're not in the military you may not understand it perfectly but it was all in good fun. Feel free to comment the video!! Thanks.

Sorry - not trying to be mean but I fail to see the point in this. This is what my tax dollars are paying the military to do?
No, your tax dollars are paying those fine gentleman to keep you safe. Often times in the field we have 12 hours on and 12 hours off, and in our free time there is no xbox, no tv, no computer, so you find stuff to do. Whether it be playing cards, doing PRT (jane fonda) or making videos, its our free time we do what we want.
unvmyrs-dude, I feel ya, there are too many people who have joined the army under the impression they wouldn't have to work out and maintain a physically fit body. It irks me to no end to a soldier who looks like his ACU top is about to bust open. IDK if you have seen it, but there is a demotivational poster that has a fat dude in PT's, with a pair of marines laughing and ttaking the picture. it says army strong, lucky for us we have marines. I like the dude has an MRE, and pringles, and looked like a monster!! lol

Re: bored... in the field... so we made a video!!!
Actually megahertz... your tax dollars pay for us to go to war and get blown up, lose limbs, kill terrorists, and spend time away from our families or even die. If you "fail to see the point" then ****ing move away or don't comment on MY post and take your trash elsewhere. There was no true point hence the sarcasm in the video. Remember, it was a soldier that killed osama bin laden that congress almost didn't pay just 2 weeks prior. So before you run your mouth think about what you have to say. You're just a prick dude. Seriously.
Flaming chicken,
Yeah soldiers who are overweight are a burden on the army. When were in the field we don't even have the luxury to shower...let alone do something fun. Kinda just deal with it. And during this particular field exercise.. we had just finished shooting HIMARS and took a few hour break. It was fun lol
Anyways.. now kindly if you would lurkers; enjoy my video! Even though its short and pointless. :)

Re: bored... in the field... so we made a video!!!
I see absolutely nothing wrong in you guys doing a little silliness out there. My son has just gotten back from Afghanistan in his second tour and just having him home and relatively ok is more than enough reason that sometimes, you guys gotta take a mental break.
Not that I know any more now than I did while he was away, I can tell by the demeaner that there's something people who aren't there just will never know. Thank you, to me, seems like patronizing, so I silently salute the efforts and sacrifice and respect whatever it takes to make it through.
Re: bored... in the field... so we made a video!!!
Had a few too many beers last night apparently. Everyone should have the right to downtime no matter what you do. I was reading the thread today and was wondering what kind of jackoff would post that and realized it was me. I appreciate all those who put their life on the line. Sorry for any disrespect.

You're ignorant and misinformed. No one works 24/7.
And you're a brown-nosing tool. Im sure his opinions may not agree with everyone, doesn't mean he has to be ridiculed because of them. Just stop already.....

Re: bored... in the field... so we made a video!!!
Lmao... most people who've seen it didn't bother to watch it through to the end. That's the icing on the cake. Not that fatties need icing....or cake...
