So my uncles own a hi-line preowned car dealer - this is where I work. One of my duties is to upload VINs to the system for every car that comes in so they can be advertised on the web. I thought this was funny...a 2004 Mercedes C230 Kompressor has a W68 option in the RPO codes - Brown Poplar Wood Trim, a $360 option.

Back in the early 2000s, I had a friend who had a MB with a "Kompressor."
It really annoyed him when the rest of us at work would tease him that after spending all that money, you would think the Germans would at least spell "compressor" correctly for him or maybe even call it a supercharger.
That and we would always ask him about how his VW was doing.
He'd reply testily, "It is a Mercedes..."
We'd answer back," Oh OK, whatever..."
Then just watch his face turn red as his blood pressure built up.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

to be completely honest the C230 (sedan, which is wat we have) is a dog. supercharged 4banger has NO power anywhere in the RPMs. 3rd gear has a blip of torque that instantly vanishes lol
