How do you stop them? My truck has sat in the driveway in the same spot for the last 4 months and doesn't have a single spot of bird crap on it ANYWHERE. But the Firebird is like a magnet for the stuff! Especially right after I wash it. Yesterday, I spent all day at the beach, T-tops left off, and it was fine. But I went to the movies afterward and within those 2 hours of being in the movies, there were 3 new spots of bird crap! I finally have a car that I really take pride in, that actually gets a bath more than once or twice a year, and birds like to use it for target practice! This is so frustrating!

I used to have a volkswagen, an old beetle, and I had this problem, where they wouldnt get out of the way fast enough, and i would hit them. They would bounce off the hood, hit the windscreen and sail into the air. One time it happened 3 times in one month! There were giant dents all in my hood, luckily they didnt crack the windscreen any.

Doesn't matter... at the movies, there wasn't a single tree within 100 yards of the car. There's a tree that partially overhangs my truck tho. I guess I just need to keep a roll of towels and some windex in the car for now on...
lol yea, my girlfriend said that maybe the birds are intimidated and feel the need to strike when the car is vulnerable (at a standstill with me not around) haha
you know...your car is Outside....and birds are....outside.....and they pooh...outside. your can is going to get hit! keep a towel and some detailer spray in your car
