Your job is to make your boss look good, usually by doing a good job. He would usually in turn say good things about you to his superiors. Tons of people don't know or understand this concept or have some one sided argument about how their boss is unfair and singles them out. It's usually for a good reason.

In a perfect world, sure. But this world isnt perfect, and almost every supervisor, superior at work, boss Ive had is out for themselves. They take credit for their employees work, then lay off the employees that do a good job. Whatever you just said rarely happens anymore, because morality is no longer an attribute for most supervising positions.

BTW, my job is to make MYSELF look good. The bosses do their job as well. I don't make others look good.

I'd clean up the mess to make sure no one else finds out, then give them a copy of the vid and remind them to be more discreet. Definitely not my place to judge others, I aint exactly a saint. Hopefully one of them would return the favor some day and have my back. Allies are always better than enemies :)
