Dunno where to put this, so the lounge can get some action for a bit. Looking to hit the dyno in the up coming weekends (not sure exactly which one yet) What do you guys think she's gunna lay down?

    Engine

    Custom cam 230/240 .512/.512 113LSA @0.060
P&P heads 1.9" intake 1.57" exhaust manley valves
Full bolt ons exhaust/headers/short ram intake
    Electric water pump
    approximately 9:9:1 Compression ratio

    Drivetrain

    aluminum driveshaft
Ford 8.8 rear end with 4.10 gears
    Automatic transmission
rebuilt tranny with a vette servo
    3200 TCI stall converter

Don't think I'm missing anything...Car will be going on with the 18" C5 rims in the back with nitto extreme 555's 275/40R18 tires if that makes a difference.

    Any takers?

Background info: On the old ARH cam (210/220 .512/.512 112LSA @0.060) the car ran a best of 13.7 cam only with about 28-30* of timing

With the heads done and getting a knock (probably the bearing going) she did 13.6 heads/cam on the spun bearing with 15-17* of timing.

^^ both of those were also on about a 9:5:1-9:6:1 compression ratio.

    2002 SOM Z28 Camaro - 12.9 @ 104 mph
    1996 3800 Camaro - 13.43 @ 100.77 mph

If you lock the stall I would say 220hp / 240 TQ

not a lockable stall, unless I want it in pieces at the end of the run...

Thats true , I forgot locking your stall is hard on the stall, not worth the hazzle.

I should have asked this earlier... but who is tuning it? Makes all the difference.

Do you have some 16"s for the dyno run?

That will free up a few ponies instead of turning those heavy 18"s.

                      I am going with 245HP 248TQ

doubtful the 18s will do anything... and pretty high wager! I think mine may be low..

Rolling resistance,I just had my 99 TA dynoed 312 HP 325 TQ the dyno operator told me the rolling resistance might be worth 5-10 HP depending on tire width.

                          Mikes car has run 13.7.

                          To run a 13.7 in my 94TA I had 278HP and 328TQ.

Mike 60fts better than my TA ever did 2.0's were the norm.

Plus he has weight reduction and thats what gets him the 13.7,thats why I put it at 240HP or so.

                            I'd guess 215/220 (hp/tq).

Tom, I do have the drag rims/slicks...maybe I'll throw on the Weld's when I go...we'll see.
