it's been a hot minute...

what's up guys,

just wanted to drop in and say what's up and see what's new around the forum. sadly it's been a while since i've been on so i'm sure i've missed a lot, but i'm getting back in the swing of things finally.

lately i've been tied up with job hunting and dealing with my jeep. it threw a rod while i was driving home from work a couple of months ago and destroyed the block, so i actually had been DD'n the ballermaro for about 2 months while i saved up for a rebuilt jasper engine for the WJ. i just got it installed last week and now i'm nursing the 'maro back to health from daily wear 'n tear, and getting the jeep back up to speed...its been a headache.

but im back, and havent forgotten about you all...so catch me up to speed around here haha.

and on a side note, is anyone else a WJ owner or work on their jeep? i just joined streetjeeps.net to get caught up on how to do my own work and start a few mods and appearance things. i figure if they're anywhere near as good as you guys are the jeep could one day be baller approved lol.

Whelp, glad to know your doin good. I am currently stationed in South Korea, prostituting myself out, you know how it is. I have been ordering parts while I'm out here, got all new MOOG bushings for the rear end, new shocks, and got a 5spd swap. Soon enough I'll be back home turning wrenches again. I did find a LS1 camaro, had a wrecked body, the guy still drove it it just looked like crap, they wanted $4750 for it, I might just buy that.

thanks bro, glad to see ur back to turning wrenches finally. u get beefed up yet? haha. im on the fence about a turbo setup for the 3.8 or just getting a donor ls1 down the road...we'll see.

Your car got hit a little while ago right? Did you ever get it fixed?

yeah i got that straightened out last summer, she was out of commission from april til july but she's back in action and running strong now. just saving to continue working on her.

i bought a vette, that is all.

Not really beefed up, but I'm not the wimp I used to be. I was 114 lbs when the army let me join, I'm up to about 135, but I run all the time. I ran the 8th army ten miler a couple weeks ago, and half marathon a month before that, I don't think thats going to help me keep the weight on...

Damn I thought you dropped off the face of the earth lol, welcome back. Well, I bought a 99, Y87 package, power everything, and t-tops, NBM Camaro for DD'n. The 3M Maro is in my shop under a tarp cause the trans seized up on me in October but Im currently building a motor (nothing to crazy) heads, cam, powerdyne set up, to drop into her, should be done and she should be terrorizing ricers in a month and I now work for Skywest airlines. Lol.
