They do look nice, haven't seen any like that here in the Uk, not even the Jap imports. Would be nice to get hold of some and be a bit different.

Sorry about that I looked a different pic and could only see the spoiler.

All the jap imports have those lights. My last 2 4th gens came from Japan and had those. If you get the later bubble front light camaro, you get the newer rear lights and that's the same for all countries.

Those tails are fugly. I dont like the stock ones either, but all the others are even uglier... And whats the deal with the extra lights in the bumper? Do you guys have to have four lights in the rear or is it a height issue?

The lower lights are Fog lights. They are a requirement on all cars here.

Well erm!!! I think I'll keep the ones I've got.

Fogs for the rears? They look red to me, and what use would fogs on the rear have?

                    Re: Greetingks from the UK

Well, in the winter here it can get very foggy early mornings or early evenings and as it is usually dark the rear fog lights are there to help stop some idiot hitting you up the rear. They do help even in day light. They are much brighter than the normal lights, a bit like driving with your brake lights on all the time. Here in the UK it is illegal to use them (front fogs as well ) when it is not foggy.

Oh I didnt even think of it like that. I think of fog lights to help the driver see. Not a saftey device during fog.You know how a few of our words are different or taken differently. This is one of them... How come the camaro had to have them when imported? I dont see any other cars with them. BMW VW etc dont have them, at least I never seen them.

                        Re: Greetingks from the UK

Any car which is imported to the UK has to comply with EU regs for it's yearly road test (MOT). Cars which are originally biult to EU specs like the BMW, VW Fords have the fog lights incorporated into the light enclosure thats why you cannot see them. They don't need to have separate ones.

Because 4th gens were built for the EU, rather than change the whole rear light enclosure they just inserted them in the bumper which was a lot easier.
On other American cars they just added a rear fog light separate to the other lights. You can just make it out on this photo below the licience plate in the middle.

                        Cheers Gerry
