I have been a Sprint customer for about 15 years........

Currently running a Evo 4G rooted with a vanilla Android 2.2 Froyo w/ updated radio firmware.

I can tether usb or wireless, programs to do about anything: sharing files from the phone over the internet anywhere, rdp to my home network, run real time backups of any programs on my phone remove them and reinstall at will etc. Tons of games, Tons of business software, lots of work/productivity software. I wasn't going to switch when 4G game out to an Iphone and I definitely won't switch now that Jobs is done. The Iphone 4G had enough reception problems with dropping calls! :)

Overall it's plenty fast, but to each his own you can make an Iphone do almost everything an Android device can and vice versa with root/jailbreak so it's a matter of choice.

Couldn't have put it any better myself. Although I prefer android (I have a DROID x) because it is much easier to use its potential. I also have I devices, ipad and ipod touch, and love them too. But really its all in preference and what you use it for. Android apps can be had for free with no root/jailbreak and can run a lot more from the factory operating system.

this. Even though my iPhone 4 is a smudgy piece of ****, it's still lightyears better than any Android powered phone I've tried.
