lol i hear ya man, i go through phases where i game more or just completely stop...no shame either way!

my gf used to be the manager at our Gramstop here until she got her police job (needless to say, a lot of the gamer nerds here were pissed when their favorite gamer chick resigned lol), so she fully supports anything game related and half the time knows more about it than i do haha.

next paycheck, we'll be bustin' up some zombies :D

Ill be getting gears 3, when I can find it used. I normally don't like to pay full price, but dead island I was more than happy to. Ill have to freshen my skillz with some gears 2 before I go out and get 3 anyways. I haven't touched my xbox in over a month, now i have over 15 hours game time since i picked it up. and thats with work and school work.

Sheesh, I have 8 days played online MW2 in the past 3 months getting ready for MW3. And I've 100% achievement'd Oblivion for Skyrim.
Played DI with a friend on co-op and it's basically amazing. It's a Fallout but actually good, and with zambies.
Super pumped for Bioshock:Infinite too.

I hope you don't mean to dis fallout because fallout 3 goty and new Vegas both are amazing games. With 3 being the better of the two. Oblivion was amazing too. I wonder how much of my life goes into Bethesda games lol

Honestly, I hated Fallout 3. I tried to play it on multiple occasions, and just couldn't do it... But I love the entire Elder Scrolls series, and any Bethesda game I play, besides Fallout.

how are the RPG aspects of the game? What do you get to do?

You level up and gain skillllzzz. Like eventually if you give enough points to a certain area you can curb stomp the zombies while they're down. Which helps a ton with keeping your weapons in shape cause they eventually wear down and break. I like to charge through groups of zombies with the "tackle" skill and knock em all down so everyone else can clean em up behind me.

So I just got to the second Island, and HOLY CRAP!! It gets tougher. I was loneing it up, then I had to call in for a second player, and even then we both were getting murdered. It just got REAL!
