Hood i picked up in cinncinnatti off a guy who makes them fiberglass and sells on ebay.. it was damaged so i only paid $150.00.. i was visiting my brother whom lives about 1/4 mile from his shop. 0 shipping
lol.... everybody does looks impressive but it is actually embroidered patches i picked up on ebay and glued onto the vinyl with some special glue form jo ann fabrics..
looks like it is stiched right into the vinyl...
two tone doors are very easy to do.. removed the panels and disassblembled the parts with a soldering iron melting the tabs on back off.
cut the red vinyl to fit over cardbord centers and reattched with liquid nails at the tab locations. all the plastic parts snap off inside and sprayed them silver with krylon plastic coat spray paint.. it etches into the plastic and wont peel back off.
i had a 69 clone lemans .. did the same back then... took a really nice custom s lemans and added all the exterior goat parts from a donor. hood tach rear fin emblems air cleaner valve covers console shifter bucket seats etc. etc... installed an 455 HO.. it ran like a monster.. lol even got the flip up headlights for it..
This is my always wanted a trans am car... without the cost of owning one...
only have 6k in this car...and its very cheap to insure..

Thats awesome. I just got my Lemans in January, I've been enjoying the time spent with it so far. Very cool cars. :)

today i was working on fixing the rear stabilizer bar.... its 5/8 diameter factory bar.
All I can find are the red bushing kits for aftermarket 3/4 and 1 inch dia bars..
Anyone know hwere to buy the bushing kits for the smaller factory bars?
I really wanted the red rubbers...not factory black..
Gtorat, that's a cool project in the works you got there. Once upon a red light, in my rear view mirror there was a silver WS6 roar behind me while in my SS and it does look and sound intimidating.
While my retinas burned on the bright red accents on your Firebird, what's lurking under the hood, anything of interest?
Nice Pontiac, that's a keeper.

only about 3.5 hours. theres nothing to do in Ohio so wife and I head up that way and hangout around the falls few times a year.. We like to take a fun car and ride the lake shores to find stuff to do. Been all along the north coast from Middle of Michigan to Rochester NY so far.. Plan to head around Lake Ontario to Toronto next..

Toronto's fun, especially if you've never been before...expensive as hell though. That's why when I have nothing to do I go the opposite way and head down to the States lol
