first off, im sorry guys, i have been so busy lately from work and everything, and my pm box was full, but i cleared it out now.

anyways, i have been gettin the camaro ready for some body work, I took it up to my girlfriends grandfathers house for a project for him to do.

he is an amazing guy, just turned 84, and he is going to tackle putting quarters, floor boards, rockers, and a taillight panel on. Last year he just got done literally cutting my girlfriends car in half, and welding a new car to the back of it. cant wait till its done!

Got the block cleaned, and the deck was milled due to rust around the water jackets, also got ARP main bolts because the main caps were not fitting properly with the studs


Stock 69' 302 piston on a 350hp 327 rod, 11:1 compression with a 64cc chamber


Painted the block

Block is a small journal 64' -870 block


Ground the crank .010 oversize, this is a 67' 302 forged crank


Painted the intake n' stuff

I miss working on old cars. They are so much easier than EFI..imo.

What color are you going to go with?

Thanks..it will be painted hugger orange with white stripes. Working with that junk edelbrock carb sucks..I hate it and can't wait till I get a Holley back on

I just got a 69 maro hugger orange with white stripes. It's got a 15.5 turn motor in it.

well its been about a month and a half, and the car is done.. not bad for an 84 year old putting door skins, rocker panels, wheel wells, quarters, and the rear tailpan, and he somehow managed to get the hood back on the car himself
