Yeah well I challenge anyone with a stockish 3.8 to come race my 3rd gen. I'll gladly oblige. Lol...

Unless you've owned and drove both like I have you cant tell me otherwise.

Hell proof's in this guys post:

Our stock V6 has more than enough potential to hang with the V8 350's of the 80's.
http://www.thirdgen.org/mt_july_1990...the_5.0_corral The 305 which indeed these v6's can potentially beat. Pay attention to the mustangs numbers. Which the tpi 350's actually had more hp/tq than. ;)
http://www.thirdgen.org/last_IROC_ht_january_1990 I dont think these v6's are 14 second cars stock. Sorry. :P

I'm done here. Back on topic shall we? :)

1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula 0-60 mph 6.4 Quarter mile 14.6 (350 TPI) They are lighter and more aerodynamic than GTA.: Formula weight 3,245lbs GTA weight 3,416lbs

So no such thing as a 14 sec. GTA. Not till 1990-2 when they are up to 235-240hp even then still you can only get a high 14 once in a while if you're lucky. I know. I've raced my 89 bone stock (paper filter and everything) before with only 60k on the clock and I could only get 15.6 best time. My Bird can do better.

You also can't deny the testimony of some of the members here from the past who has beaten GTA's before. Sorry, you're not going to win this one.

I'm a 26 year old idiot. I believe I've been in a bad mood since I woke up this morning so it's worse today.. I'll take it out on my girlfriend later then ask her how she likes PMS.

lmao, yup. Gawd damn construction workers blocking my subdivision on my way to work let me know I wasn't very appreciative of other people this morning. And a nasty bump due to their construction scraping my under K pipes.
