My friend has this 1987 jeep cherokee he sold me because he's moving. It is a sick ride. Some of the mods are as follows... most notably an atlas 4 speed transfer case which sells for 3 grand alone. Brand new 35" iroc tires on sweet rims. 4" suspension lift. Dana 44 rear. It also has a spooling rear end. 4.0 strait 6 with Borla header going into a full magnaflow exhaust. Rebuilt motor and tranny 25k ago. All fresh tune up. Warn winch with warn lockers. I know there's a lot more but I got it all for 4 grand. This jeep will seriously go anywhere. The atlas is what im excited about!!! The truck is in great shape too. Need some bushwhacker fender flares though. I will post pics later. I will he getting it on Monday. Who else is a bad *** jeep owner? Im a newb, bit I know this jeep is seriously a bad *** off road rig.

Ive been wanting to get one to tackle the winter, and take off roading back in the cottage country for awhile now.

Dad and I picked this up last fall for $500. Its an 88 Limited with 210K and a 4liter. Motor has like 170K i want to say. Theres hardly and rust in it. About all Ive done to it is replace the rear hatch and quarter, build new bumper brackets, tailight, change the oil, and change a cam sensor. Gets 14 MPG (blah) but runs great.

I REALLY wish I could find a black, 97+ 2dr 2wd with the 4.0 and turbo it. Be an awesome vehicle. Was actually going to do that but ended up finding the firebird last spring.

Looks good, my buddy picked up a 85' jeep yesterday. Its a 4.0 with 35" tires and 4" lift, I think he paid $1700 for it. Its green so hes going to camel it out with some black spray paint.

And a couple pics of the BF's XJ before he sold it. Had ARB bumper, 4" lift kit, front and rear lockers, 32s, complete underbody skid and bash guards, rock rails, etc. Was a lot of fun offroad, but sucked driving on the street.










Currently has a Discovery with a 2" lift and 31s that he's trying to sell for something a little more baja-inspired.

they are probably true! haha. we went through a ton of parts/work on my wifes jeep when we had it. they are solid cars though

hells yes!! sweet find man! i love my jeep it goes in everything (99 WJ) and keeps the 'maro out of trouble in the winter. baller approved :tup:
