Noone in their right mind is going to drop that much money for a 11 year old LS1.

I had to pass on a 1999 Trans Am recently. 180,000 thousand on it and they wanted $5950 for it hahaha. It was hard to pass an easy LS1, but with that kind of mileage that transmissions coming up on overhaul, and possibly the engine too. Plus it was all stock, down to the head unit. Ive spent alot of money on my car and didnt want to trade it in and do half of that same **** all over again and purchase those parts again because I didnt keep the stock ones.
sadly that would sell for 12k no problem around here too....i've been all over autotrader and craigslist hunting down a black SS and even Z28's are going for 8-12 depending on mileage and mods.

thanks man, i'll check things out around that way as well. i'm looking for an SS with bolt-ons, black or silver, 99-02 (the 98 ls1 is terrible), ttops, M6, and with around 50-75k on the clock. prices for those are much higher from what im finding. i'll stay in touch with you if i find a bite near you tho!
