Wondering on ebay and saw the title, when I clicked it and started looking at it I just shook my head, visually, its not bad, the tails and rims look like ***, and someone swaped interiors from a bird which I though was pretty cool, needs some work, but what really got me was the badge "666 HP Supercharged" :spank: The seller clearly knows nothing about the car, at all. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...item19c958b0cf

I was told it is the black box in the front middle? Gets air forced through it from the bottom front. I looked at the picts, and I think you can see some of it in one engine pict, and all of it in the other. I hope this answers your question. Thanks.

I don't think it is a 99 either. See the hole in the driver side part of the wheel well? That's usually where the cables run for the 98 & earlier throttle body. It is now running a DBW setup. My car doesn't have that hole at all.
That car has had the engine replaced. This car has all sorts of fishy stuff going on. The convertible top doesn't even meet the corners of the A-pillar at all as well.
I checked the VIN and it shows it as a 99 convertible, but there's just something off about that car. It might have had a vin from another car used on it.

VIN from the donor car was a '99 they put the 99 drivetrain in a pre 99 car. Hence the hole for where the fuel lines would normally come out. I'm going to report this as a VIN misrepresentation.
Im confused by your airbag statment. My guess is the 99 car was rearended. hence the 98+ front clip on a pre 98 car. That would also explain the Frame damage record that goes with the 99's vin records. I cant say for sure but this would be my best guess.
